Kapa Haka Festival

On saturday the 24 some of my school went to the Kapa haka festival.

The festival was at raportaka and some students went on stage and did

a maori dance.My friends were dancing up there too like a true maori.

Basic Facts Prototec T4W1

I have improved this week because I had got a better score.

Last week I got 83 percentage and this week I got 85 percentage.

Hip hop lesson 2

Today my class and I went to hip hop lesson 2.

My friends and I sat next to each other on the floor.

First we all had to stretch but dancing because we

might pull a bone in our body.So Izzy put music on

then we followed what Izzy was doing.The song

made me feel like there were butterflies in my tummy

when I was dancing.

Then we all went to go play rock paper scissors but in

a dancing way.So Izzy put all of us into four groups.

I was in group three so Izzy called out group three and group one.The group has to work together to pick one.Our choice is rock,paper or scissors so my team

picked paper the other team pick scissors.Then it was team two and fours tern then team one came first next

place it was team two third place was team three and team four.

After all the groups lined up then we had to follow the leader

and the leader had to do moves then the other people had to

follow the leader.two groups sat down and they had two count

how much moves the other teams can do the score was seven. The two teams that got seven had to sit down and juge the other group.

Next we all sat down then she was showing us how to

do something with our hands.We followed her some boys

got it right and some girls.Then she tried it with music but

fast.I was really hard for us to do it.Then she went twice as

fast and I could see everyone getting it right.

Basic Facts T4W1

Today I did my basic facts assessment for term 4.I was happy that

I improved and I need to learn my division to move to the next stage.

At the end of the year I would want to be at stage 6.

Cousins Birthday

On Monday it was my cousins birthday.We were

all thinking that we should go to the restaurant.

First,my mom and I went to the shop and brought the

cake for the birthday.We bought a mud cake and we

put extra chocolate on the cake.Then we put the cake

in the container so it's there when we do the cake.  

Next, we all went to the restaurant to get our table and

sit down.Then some of us had to go on to another table

so they sit on the table next to us.We all waited for the

birthday boy to come.He came and he smiled a lot and

before I ate I always take a photo of my food and I use

my phone to take a photo.

Then,the adults went to go buy the food so we could start

eating.Then the adults went to go get the plaits and then

they made us the things we wanted to eat.There was chop suey,

hot chips,raw fish and ice cream and all those kind of things.

They were all yum but I liked the raw fish the most out of all the

things I ate.The smell of the raw fish made me think of eating a

big whole bowl of raw fish.

Finally, I could still taste the raw fish in my mouth.

After eating all that food we did the cake.Then we sang the

birthday song to him then he made his wish then blew the

candles out.Then we had some cake after that we cleaned

up and went home.

Tessellation

I have coloured in Tessellation and I used purple,green and orange.

For the first line going down I used purple in the squares then In the first box

I put orange at the top and the bottom.The green went on the other sides.

Then it changes when you keep going but in the third line I used green in the

middle then put purple were the green was supposed to be.A tessellation is a

repeated pattern that is my tessellation.

Cold and hot colours

This week Miss kerby  came into our class then then showed us
some art made by Karl Appis and showed us how to colour with
cold and hot colours.So we had to draw line everywhere then you
use bright colours that are hot and cold.
